- Search and arrange host family
- Pay on behalf of student for home stay fees
- Home visit to host families and feedback to parents prior to students’ arrival
- Airport pickup on arrival day and help student settles in
- Monthly home visit to the student and get feedback from host parents
- Communicate with students to give guidance and take students out to have Chinese meals (free)
- Monthly report for the parents including student’s academic progress, overall performance at school, EC and relationship with host family so as to keep the parents informed of their student’s progress
- Provide education to the student on the cultural differences, US laws and regulations, school guidelines, safety awareness and healthy spending habit, help student on how to get along with host families, teachers, and students to better fit in the new environment
- Help student communicate with schools for academic and other challenges
- Provide prompt assistance in the case of emergency, and will act on a timely matter to work with school to resolve any problems
- Airport pick-up and drop-off during summer and winter breaks
- Help students with class selections
- Remind students to register and pay relevant fees on time (school and host family)
- Help refer organizations for special academic needs or college preparation programs
