SBIE has provided a comprehensive package consisting of the necessary road map every step of the way for the student throughout his or her high school period. Our experienced counselors will walk through each step with your student via face to face meetings, discussions, seminars, e-mail communications and phone meetings.

In order to pursue a higher goal to achieve success in life, and to have a better opportunity, Chinese students travel across the ocean to study in the United States and it is apparently a huge challenge for the students and their families. The parents are concerned about the well being and safety of their student and the students inevitably get lonely and homesick and encounter problems in life and at school. That is why the necessary counseling is very pivotal for the overall healthy state of the students.
SBIE provides all-round services, guidance, caring and help for students. The teachers at SBIE are all senior educators and very familiar with both U.S and Chinese cultures, are good at providing caring to younger students, they are the students’ friends and mentors. They are very experienced at responding at issues students confront with and act promptly with plans to resolves the problems. We conduct monthly follow-ups with the students via phone call, Wechat and sometime a home visit to help resolve any potential issues students may face and ensure they are at their best state to fit in the environment. Prior to the students’ arrival, we always conduct a home visit to the host families to ensure the safety of the homes.

- UCR APP Program
Due to the fact that there is NO SAT test centers in mainland China, UCR has come up with the Admission Preparation Program (APP) and it opens the door for prospective Chinese high school graduates. The admitted students will take TOFEL SAT and UCR credited classes concurrently. All majors are available and the after one year of studying at UCR, the credits can articulate into other UC campuses.
