For winter camps, no more than 5 Chinese students will be placed into the alliance school’s classrooms, and for summer camps, a ration of Chinese student and American student of 1:1 or 1:2 will enable the students to mingle with their American ambassadors to go to class together. The classes will cover all required and elective courses such as English, Math, History, Science, Music, PE and STEAM. The shadow program will encourage the Chinese students to interact with American students and to practice their English skills and make friends with their ambassadors, and engage in the classroom discussions, showcase their talents and English speaking abilities, so as to motivate their potentials.

The Chinese students will pair with the American students to become buddies to go to classes together due to the mobilized class’s method. each class has about 20-30 students and there are usually 7 periods on a particular schools day.  

STEAM Classes  

Under the science teachers’ direction, the Chinese students will have a hands-on experience for various STERAM projects such as 3d printing, graphic coding, robotics, innovative product design, IoT, rocket science, environmental and green energy programs, etc. The advanced concept of PBL learning motivates the students to work as a team and cultivate their active thinking and abilities to solve problems, and to simplify complicated concepts and so as to acquire knowledge in a fun way.

Filming Classes

Los Angeles is an entertainment capital and center for many filming companies like Warner Brothers, Walt Disney, ABC, and Universal Studios, etc. Many alumni working at filming industries usually teach at their schools for basics of film making, they will work together to record the camp activities and put them on a disc so the students can bring back home with them.

PE Classes

Professional coaches will teach the students the basics of various sports including basketball, baseball and football and team up with local students to have a real game at the school’s gymnasiums.

Music Classes

Students will learn basic music theory and hands on to try various instruments.

Taught by experienced ESL teachers and with teaching props, students will learn Us and California history, American customs, and English idioms and slang.

BSA is one of the largest youth organizations in U.S and has 3 million youth members and one million adults who participate in activities. Since inception in 1910, there has been over 110 million youth participated in the programs. The philosophy lies in the BSA’s mission statement: It cultivates good citizenship, encouragements during adversities, shapes independent and confident characteristics. It aims to help the youth acquire knowledge, master skills, better oneself, family and the community, to make youth become a responsible citizen with honor so as to be a future leader.BSA has chapters all over the country with different names such as cubs, small legions, boy scouts, explorers, etc. The BSA certificates will be issued by congress and the current president is the chairman and the former president is the vice chairman.

The students will stay with school assigned host families and experience the authentic American life style by interacting with their host family members.

UCLA ranks 1^st place among national public universities, its 31 programs ranks top 20 and 13 departments are among top 10, it has the largest libraries in the nation with a total of 8 million books. It serves as a cradle for talents majoring in business finance, high tech industry and filming. There will also be professors from Caltech and scientists from JPL who usually host the students for an information session. Students will have an opportunity to have a meeting with admission officers to learn the admission process.

Our consulting team is consisting of local city mayors, congressman and Ivy League counselors; they will give productive information sessions: an overview of American politics and government structure and its operation; a session on how to apply for US elite colleges.
